While many actors are jumping onto the OTT bandwagon, Paramvir is intentionally stepping back. Over the past few months, he’s reportedly turned down three web show offers, choosing instead to focus on what truly excites him right now: films.
“He’s said no to three web shows recently,” a source reveals. “His focus is firmly on transitioning into films and exploring genres he hasn’t attempted before.”
When asked about the kind of roles he’s drawn to next, the source added, “He wants to explore romantic roles—something he’s never done before. He likes to challenge himself.”
Currently, the actor is spending time in the mountains, taking a breather and prepping for what’s next. On his plate: the shoot for Sapne Vs Everyone Season 2, and wrapping the final leg of Border 2. But that’s not all.
He also has a new project announcement on the horizon, including a Punjabi film with Sonam Bajwa in the comedy space—yet another genre he’s excited to tap into.
From hard-hitting action to light-hearted comedy, Paramvir Singh Cheema is clearly shaping a diverse and deliberate new chapter in his journey.
