"We were nervous"; Vihaan Samat On Recreating Viral SidKiara Wedding Moment For 'Call Me Bae'

The OTT series ‘Call Me Bae’, currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, starring Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has taken the internet by storm, and has been appreciated and loved by the audiences.

Vihaan Samat plays the role of Ananya Panday’s rich husband in the series. In one of the scenes, the two recreate the popular moment from Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding. During the wedding of Vihaan and Ananya’s characters, Ananya is seen walking towards the mandap, while pulling and imaginary rope, just like Kiara, while Vihaan points at his imaginary watch, indicating she is late, like Siddharth did at his wedding.

Talking about the scene, Vihaan expressed that Ananya and him were nervous that they would be trolled for it.  "We were all so nervous recreating that scene. It is so adorable and iconic that it had to be done to the T. When I first saw it, I was in awe of how beautifully it had come out. Even when the show was released, we were sceptical to face trolling for recreating that part. But the audience had many sweet things to say. "

He further added, "It is one of my favourite scenes from the show. It felt so dreamy throughout it was shot. I personally adore Sidharth and Kiara, so recreating their big day on screen was all the more special. Right now, I am just soaking up all the love I am getting for the show."
