A larger image into Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe:
In the expansive realm of Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe, no doubt, the foremost reason for its grandeur is none other than Rohit Shetty himself. As a master of picturization, he epitomizes the quintessential Bollywood entertainer. Shetty has unmistakably left an indelible mark on Indian cinema by creating high-octane action-drama films on an unprecedented scale. His unique storytelling extends from the big screens to the comfort of OTT screens at home, promising an experience beyond the realms of his previous cop films. The trailer teases a spectacle, igniting screens with Shetty's signature filmmaking.
Also, during a press meet, Sidharth Malhotra praised Shetty, stating, “Even though he excels in comedy, when it comes to action and portraying heroes in a masculine yet simple and effective way, Rohit Shetty has a unique language.” Malhotra added, “When he brings his larger-than-life sensibility, nobody else presents Hindi film heroes quite like Rohit sir does.”
Adding on, as stated by Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi, the story revolves around real-life heroes. In line with the director's vision to keep it as realistic as possible, every actor performed their stunts without any body doubles. What an accomplishment as a filmmaker and actor that every other viewer will definitely talk about!
Sidharth Malhotra in a Police Avatar for the first time:
It’s been more than a decade since we have known this gem of a person and performer. What a roller-coaster ride it has been – from lover-boy, villain, mass avatar, spy man, to an army officer. We have witnessed every best side of the actor; he's a completely versatile star. Now, seeing him don a policeman uniform for the first time is a huge treat. We have seen him play a spy or army officer, but never in a police avatar. Watching him in this role is especially significant under the direction of the cop-maker legend, Rohit Shetty.
The SOTY star is also very excited to be seen as a policeman and overwhelmed by working under Rohit Shetty’s direction. In the trailer, he looks simply perfect in the uniform, and we can't wait to watch him. While Malhotra was talking, even his co-star Vivek Oberoi interrupted with a compliment, saying, “What Sid is not saying is that this guy looks awesome in uniform.” ALSO READ: New Year, New You: Set Realistic Resolutions for a Successful 2024

During the press meet, she also shared about her character Tara Shetty, describing her as a "Shero." She said, "Why wouldn’t one accept a role like this? You know I describe Tara Shetty as a “Shero”. There are heroes and heroines but she’s a Shero. She is pretty, she is badass, she is passionate, she’s compassionate and she’s selfless in her line of work and it’s all the qualities of someone whom you would put on a pedestal”.
As seen in the trailer and heard directly from the director, Shilpa has dedicated her heart and soul to the show. She even encountered a leg fracture while performing a scene, necessitating a three-month bed rest period.
