Like me, if you are a K-pop buff, you must be knowing that HR Entertainment is going to launch another girl group named CooKie which has an average low age group of 13-year-old girls. There has been a division of fans in this topic where some of the people may be in favour but most of them are not.

I feel that this should not be done. One of the main reasons being professional life in Korea is super strict and disciplined. As we all know that celebs in the K-pop industry have to sign a contract that gives complete control over their life from diet to their other personal issue to the company. Such rules make life very difficult for anyone working in the industry. Due to this even, adults get highly depressed and suicidal, here we are talking about small kids. These kids have not crossed the age of 18, they are not even 16 years old. Children of age 13 and below are picked and they don’t even know what may lay ahead for them.

With the ongoing bullying cases or bullying scandals that are going around in the whole entertainment industry bending more towards the K-pop industry, no one in the right minds should release a girl group and moreover a girl group with an average age of 13 years old. This should be the age of the kids to learn and polish their skills so as even if they want to join in the K-pop world in future they have the particular skill set learnt rather than forced into them by a strict schedule.
