An Ode To Times' Best Campaign Yet, 'Flirt With Your City'! Let The Music Flow!
Times' best campaign 'Flirt With Your City' is definitely something that every metropolitan city dweller will forever connect to, here's an ode to these beautiful musical raps.

Creativity is really unbound and free in its spirit. Just like that something very unique and funky has hit the net space, albeit it is just a promotional campaign. However, the sheer originality and thought put into making it has made it a focal point of this discussion! And that is why ‘Flirt With Your City’ campaign is here to make a mark.

The Times of India has launched a brand campaign for TOI’s metro supplements (TIMS) esp. Bombay Times, Delhi Times, Gurgaon Times, Chennai Times, Bangalore Times and Calcutta Times titled ‘Flirt with your City’. This particular campaign aims at strengthening as well as stressing over their position in the market. Times has very well made a point that it is the ultimate one-stop destination for everything. From juicy gossip to each city’s bustling social life and ending at its pop culture!

It isn’t the aim but the way how they make their claims of being the ultimate that’s got me writing this feature. Their campaign ‘Flirt with your City’ has musical and rhythmic raps attending to the beauty and ‘Hatke’ qualities of each metropolitan city. Each rap and musical note recounts the very reason why we have loved the city we dwell in, today. From its waterhole to hunger zones, news about the usual city-buzz to discovering unknown facets of their city’s pop culture.

Each and every rap talks about what makes one city different from the other. The rap itself has a very catchy tune that inculcates the traditional beats of the music of each of those cities. Conceptualized by JWT India, the brand campaign is set to communicate the spicier, buzzier, trendier content proposition to its readers. However, it isn’t the campaign but these beautiful musical raps that make one want to ‘flirt with their city’, definitely a commendable campaign idea. Three cheers to JWT India for the enigmatic concept, and the Rawshark Films. A round of applause to the foot-tapping music created by Dhruv Ghanekar, which brings together the soul and quirk of each city.
