WTF NEWS: Murder Occurs At Noida Mansion That Featured In 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani'

What just happened? A huge luxurious farmhouse located in Greater Noida that left movie buffs awe-struck with its enchanting interior and outer architecture in one of the hit movies of 2023, 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani,' has now fallen prey. A man shot another man dead!

The incident unfolded during a wedding ceremony held at the Randhawa Paradise, a part of the Gaur Group of Developers' luxurious residential project, Gaur Mulberry Mansions, situated in Sector 1, Noida Extension, Greater Noida. The victim, identified as Ashok Yadav, a 55-year-old resident of Sector 51, Noida, and the president of Sector 51 Block H residents’ welfare association, was allegedly shot dead by his son’s father-in-law, Shekhar, from Ghaziabad. The shocking incident occurred around 9:30 pm on Monday night, according to Suniti, deputy commissioner of police, Central Noida. She revealed that the two families involved were already in conflict due to the divorce proceedings between Ashok's son and Shekhar's daughter. The altercation between Shekhar and Ashok escalated during the wedding ceremony, leading to Shekhar allegedly shooting Ashok twice in the head.

In the chaotic aftermath of the shooting, Shekhar managed to escape the scene, leaving guests in shock. Suniti stated, "Our inquiry has revealed that Shekhar used a licensed revolver for the attack." The police are actively pursuing Shekhar, and investigations are ongoing to understand the motive behind the tragic incident.

The Randhawa Paradise gained fame as a prominent set location for the Karan Johar film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani,' released on July 28, 2023, to critical and commercial success. The property, priced between ₹19-29 crore, featured prominently in the film, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, with Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan portraying their grandparents. The movie delved into the love story of the protagonists amid clashes between their contrasting families.

The shocking turn of events has left the local community and Bollywood enthusiasts in disbelief, as a place once associated with cinematic romance is now marked by tragedy. The police continue their efforts to apprehend Shekhar, bringing justice to the grieving family of Ashok Yadav.
