In a viral video, Moo Deng, the internet-famous baby hippo, is seen coming out of the water with food as the bait. She’s presented with two watermelons labeled with the candidates’ names. Without hesitation, Moo Deng goes for the watermelon prepared for the Republican leader, enjoying it thoroughly. The video was filmed at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Si Racha, Thailand.

Moo Deng’s choice lines up with recent polls and betting trends. According to the latest poll by AtlasIntel, former President Donald Trump is leading the predictions, especially in all seven swing states. About 49% of respondents said they would vote for Trump in the upcoming election, giving Republicans a 1.8% lead over Democrat Kamala Harris.

Moo Deng, born in July 2024, is a cute, playful baby hippo who became famous online. Her handlers shared videos of her on TikTok and Instagram, making her an internet star.

Named through a public poll, Moo Deng, whose name means "bouncy pork" in Thai, has become the beloved symbol of the endangered pygmy hippo. Her popularity boosted the zoo's revenue by four times in early September.
