What began as peaceful demonstrations escalated in the Jangipur area as protesters clashed with police forces. Stone-pelting incidents and the torching of police vehicles were reported. Amid the chaos, a father and son were found dead with stab wounds in their Samserganj home, while another individual sustained a gunshot injury in separate unrest.

To control the situation, authorities imposed Section 144 in Raghunathganj and Suti police station areas for 48 hours starting Tuesday evening. Internet services in the Jangipur subdivision were suspended to prevent the spread of misinformation and maintain public order. A heavy police contingent has been deployed to the area to restore calm and ensure residents' safety.
