Legendary veteran businessman and social worker Ratan Tata passes away today at the age of 86 due to health complications.
Tata was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Monday due to drop in his blood pressure; following to that he was underwent multiple health investigations.

Well known industrialist Harsh Goenka, in his tweet has said that Ratan Tata has passed away. He wrote, “The clock has stopped ticking. The Titan passes away. #RatanTata was a beacon of integrity, ethical leadership and philanthropy, who has imprinted an indelible mark on the world of business and beyond. He will forever soar high in our memories. R.I.P”
Ratan Naval Tata was born on 28 December 1937. He was an industrialist, philanthropist and former chairman of Tata Sons. He was a chairman of the Tata Group from 1990 to 2012, and interim chairman from October 2016 through February 2017. He continued to head its charitable trusts. In 2008, he received the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian honour in India, after receiving the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian honour in 2000.
