Actor Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly paid the highest tax among all Indian celebrities in 2024. According to Fortune India, Shah Rukh paid ₹92 crore in taxes. He is followed by Vijay, who contributed ₹80 crore, and Salman Khan, who paid ₹75 crore. Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan made a tax payment of ₹71 crore, securing the fourth spot. Cricketer Virat Kohli came in fifth, paying ₹66 crore, while Ajay Devgn, in sixth place, paid ₹42 crore in taxes. MS Dhoni ranked seventh with a tax payment of ₹38 crore, and Ranbir Kapoor, in eighth place, paid ₹36 crore. Both Hrithik Roshan and Sachin Tendulkar contributed ₹28 crore each in taxes.

Other celebrities who made it to the top 20 taxpayers list include Kapil Sharma, who paid ₹26 crore, Sourav Ganguly with ₹23 crore, Kareena Kapoor with ₹20 crore, and Shahid Kapoor with ₹14 crore. Hardik Pandya contributed ₹13 crore, and Kiara Advani paid ₹12 crore in taxes. Both Mohanlal and Allu Arjun paid ₹14 crore, while Pankaj Tripathi and Katrina Kaif each paid ₹11 crore. Aamir Khan and Rishabh Pant, who paid ₹10 crore each, took the 21st and 22nd spots, respectively.

Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha (2022), a comedy-drama directed by Advait Chandan and a remake of the 1994 film Forrest Gump. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh.

Meanwhile, fans will next see Salman Khan in AR Murugadoss’s Sikandar, set to release during Eid, with Rashmika Mandanna also featuring in the film.
