Kalki 2898 AD: Prabhas Starrer Has Nani, Dulquer Salmaan, & Vijay Deverakonda In Cameos!

Prabhas, the pan-India star's upcoming project is one of the highly anticipated, star-studded sci-fi thriller set in the dystopian world titled Kalki 2898 AD. Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, this epic and costliest film is making the right noise ahead of its world release.

Kalki 2898 AD aka Project K features stalwarts like Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan, along with Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, etc. The movie is being made on a massive budget of about Rs 600 Crore and the recently released glimpse of Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and the most special cast of the film, 'Bujji.

Earlier, Filmibeat reported that there are cameos in Prabhas' film by Dulquer Salmaan, Nani, and Vijay Deverakonda, who all worked with Vyjayanthi Movies before. In addition, these actors are also good friends with the producers of Kalki 2898 AD and the director. Owing to their rapport both on and off the screen, these actors are now part of the epic movie by playing special cameos. According to the updated information, the shooting part for the cameos featuring the three actors was completed and the official announcement about the same will be revealed by the filmmakers shortly.

Meanwhile, the movie Kalki 2898 AD is going to hit the screens on June 27 this year on a mammoth scale as a pan-India release. The makers of the film are planning for a mega pre-release event in Hyderabad on May 22.

 Kalki 2898 AD First Single

On the pre-release event in which pregnant Deepika Padukone is also expected to make an appearance along with the stellar cast, the movie's first single might be released. Musician Santhosh Narayanan is composing the film's soundtrack. Further details will be revealed shortly.

The epic mythological sci-fi film boasts of Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani among others playing crucial roles. Pasupathy and Saswata Chatterjee are also part of the movie cast. 

The movie was written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Vyjayanthi Movies banner is bankrolling the film on a massive budget of Rs 600 Crore. Djordje Stojilijkovic is cranking the camera for this science fiction action thriller. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao worked as the film's editor. Santhosh Narayanan is the film's music composer.
