The Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan received special admiration from Chaudhary. JRD Tata served as an important teacher for him.
The most notable successful venture of Binod Chaudhary emerged from manufacturing Wai Wai instant noodles. He discovered widespread eating habits of instant noodles during his Thailand visit. The instant noodles business idea formed in his mind while he was engaged with the local market in Thailand. Upon his return to Nepal, he established his product brand called Wai Wai Noodles. People in Nepal took an instant liking to this instant noodle product which became their favorite noodle dish for every family household.
Choudhary developed his entrepreneurial capabilities by looking for business opportunities with National Panasonic along with attempting to bring Suzuki cars to Nepal. The family business became his priority after his father underwent heart issues which caused him to abandon his initial plans to study Chartered Accountancy (CA) in India. The business-specific path started when he selected this choice which eventually turned into a successful businessman career.
During 1995 Binod Chaudhary made a strategic acquisition by purchasing control of Nabil Bank from the Dubai government thus significantly expanding his business operations. His professional work extends beyond business since he participates actively in social programs and political activities. The businessman allocated Rs 20 crore to repair educational institutions and residential spaces during the 2015 earthquake crisis.
He donated 500,000 packets of Wai Wai noodles, numerous juice cartons, as well as food and water to those affected by the earthquake.
