Maharashtra Exit Poll Results 2024
A neck to neck competition has been said in the current assembly election that was held in Maharashtra. P-MARQ consortium has forecasted 126-146 seats for MVA and 137- 157 seats for MahaYuti. The Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024 votes have closed and following the results, pollsters have declared a winner on some of the most contested polls in this state.
People voted for all the 288 assembly seats spread across the state in the first and only phase of polling on November 20. Thirty two constituencies in Maharashtra are in contest in this first phase of the polling and counting of votes will be held on Saturday November 23, 2024 as announced by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The voter turn out in all the constituencies across Maharashtra was over 58% till 5 PM. Out of the district Gadchiroli has recorded the highest percent of voting which was 69.63% till 5 PM. A close contest is anticipated between MahaYuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
The composition of the MVA is Congress, the NCP Sharad Pawar faction, & Shiv Sena (UBT) Uddhav Thackeray faction. The coalition MahaYuti currently being led by the Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde has BJP, NCP headed by Ajit Pawar and Shiv Sena headed by Shinde.
The exit poll results estimated the number of seats which the parties are going to secure in the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024. However, the Election Commission will give a clear picture after it will announce the results on Saturday, November 23.
