Many fans who tried booking tickets for the only concert on January 18 got a second and a third chance when the band added two more shows to cover their growing fanbase. However, many ended up getting stuck in long virtual queues, while some faced glitches when it was their turn to buy the tickets, and others had to now rely on resellers. Tickets by these resellers range from Rs 3000 to Rs 38,000 or more.

However, tickets for all three shows are bought mainly by Indians. A content creator shared a detailed comparison of the expenses of attending the Coldplay concert in Mumbai vs. Abu Dubai.

According to the post, the show in Abu Dubai will cost, on average Rs 1.7 Lakhs, including all possible expenses from flights to hotels to food and visa. While tickets in Mumbai are nearing Rs. 40,000, tickets for the UAE show start at just Rs. 4,441. Even hotels are considerably more affordable, knowing that all hotels near D. Y. Patil Stadium are sold. Considering flights for January 10, a round trip from Delhi is for Rs. 20,880 and from Bangalore, a non-stop flight costs Rs. 16,661.

Now, Indian fans are weighing their options. If not India or Abu Dubai, we might see a surge of Indian fans at the Hong Kong show in April, with tickets going live on January 10, 2024.
