Kishtwar, and Ramban, as well as the southern Kashmir districts of Anantnag, Pulwama, Kulgam, and Shopian, will participate in the first of three election phases on September 18.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to hold three rallies in the Chenab valley on Monday, according to a BJP leader. “The home minister will conduct rallies in Ramban, Kishtwar, and Paddar on September 16,” stated Arun Kumar Gupta, the BJP spokesperson and media center in-charge.
Shah will begin with a rally in the Paddar Nagseni segment before moving on to Kishtwar and Ramban Assembly constituencies, where he will address one rally in each location.
Union Minister G Kishan Reddy announced that the Prime Minister will return to Jammu and Kashmir before the second phase of polling on September 25 and the third phase on October 1 to speak at election rallies.
On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the country's first 'Vande Metro' service between Bhuj and Ahmedabad, in addition to inaugurating several other Vande Bharat trains during his visit to Gujarat. His other activities include inaugurating the RE-INVEST 2024 conference in Gandhinagar and both inaugurating and laying the foundation for multiple development projects in Ahmedabad, totaling over Rs. 8,000 crore.
The new Vande Bharat trains will cover routes such as Kolhapur-Pune, Pune-Hubballi, Nagpur-Secunderabad, Agra Cantt to Banaras, and Durg to Visakhapatnam. The first 20-coach Vande Bharat train will operate between Varanasi and Delhi, according to a PMO release.
