Pathuri, who has a disability from a past accident, could not walk properly and endured severe blisters on her feet, knees, and hands during the journey. Despite government orders to disburse pensions at beneficiaries' doorsteps, she had to make the arduous trip as no one delivered the pension to her home.

Speaking to the media, Pathuri said, "I had no option but to crawl for 2 km to get my pension." When questioned, the Panchayat Executive Officer admitted knowing the situation but claimed ignorance of her current physical condition.

The sarpanch of Raisuan Panchayat expressed regret over the incident and promised immediate action, stating that Pathuri would receive her pension and rations at home from next month. Additionally, she will be provided with a wheelchair. The sarpanch assured the public that steps are being taken to prevent such incidents from happening again.
