Diljit Dosanjh Pays Tribute To Late Ratan Tata; Paused The Germany Concert

Diljit Dosanjh is currently on his Dil-Luminati World Tour in Europe. After performing in the UK, he recently took the stage in Germany. On Tuesday night, just hours after the passing of Indian industrialist Ratan Tata, Diljit took a moment during his concert to honor him. A touching video of his tribute from the stage went viral.

A video of Diljit on stage pausing his performance to speak about Ratan Tata's life and passing has gained a lot of attention on social media. In the clip, he addresses the audience in both Punjabi and Hindi. He said,  "You all know Ratan Tata. He passed away and I pay tribute to him. I felt necessary to take his name today because all his life, he worked hard. However much I read or heard about him, I don't remember him speaking ill of anyone. He always worked hard, did good work, and helped people."

He also added, " Yahi zindagi hai. If we can learn something from his life, it is that we need to work hard, think good, help others. Bedaag apni life jee ke gaye woh."

Diljit has been on tour for several weeks, performing across the US and Europe. He will soon bring his Dil-Luminati Tour to India, kicking off with two shows in Delhi on October 26-27. After that, he is set to perform in six more Indian cities throughout December.
