As tensions boiled over, Udaipur police were forced to intervene with a lathi charge to disperse the crowd and restore order. Authorities also imposed Section 144, prohibiting large gatherings in the area to prevent further violence.
Devraj, the injured student, is currently in the ICU under observation, according to District Collector Arvind Poswal. The accused minor, who had initially fled the scene, has since been detained by the police.
The situation remains tense, with security forces maintaining a strong presence in the area to prevent further unrest.
