Arshad Warsi And His Wife Gives Makeover To 150-year-old Portuguese Home
Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi and his wife, Maria Goretti, have restored a 150-year-old Portuguese house in Goa.
On Friday afternoon, Arshad took to Instagram to showcase the renovation of their home, named Casa Zen. The official page for the house shared several pictures featuring the team involved in the restoration process.
The first photo was of their carpenter, with the caption: "My carpenter Hari, who brought to life every crazy design I imagined." The post also included a potter's image, pictures of the house being cleaned and polished, and a glimpse of a potter who crafted 40 pots in various sizes and colors.
One video showed Arshad's wife, Maria Goretti, painting a heart-shaped wooden design.
The house’s bio reads: "Casa Zen is a 150-year-old Portuguese home lovingly restored by Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti. When you step inside, it feels like a warm hug."
Arshad began his career in the film industry as an assistant director to Mahesh Bhatt in the 1987 film "Kaash" and later choreographed a song in "Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja" in 1993.
He made his acting debut in 1996 with Tere Mere Sapne, and since then has starred in films like Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet, Hulchul, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, Salaam Namaste, the Golmaal series, Dhamaal, Krazzy 4, F.A.L.T.U., Kabul Express, Dedh Ishqiya, and Guddu Rangeela.
In addition to acting, Arshad has hosted the dance show Razzmatazz in 2001, Sabse Favourite Kaun in 2004, and the first season of the reality TV show Bigg Boss.
