Allegations of School Bullying Surface Against Actress Song Ha Yoon

On April 1, 2024, reports emerged accusing "Marry My Husband" star Song Ha Yoon of being involved in a school bullying incident. The allegations, initially reported by JTBC, claimed that a popular actress, referred to as "Ms. S," had engaged in school violence during her high school years.

According to a tip-off from the alleged victim, they were assaulted by Ms. S, who they identified as Song Ha Yoon, at a playground near a neighbourhood apartment. The victim claimed that Ms. S continuously slapped them for 90 minutes without reason during their high school years.

In response, Song Ha Yoon's agency, King Kong by Starship, swiftly denied the allegations, stating that the actress had never met the accuser. They attempted to investigate the claims but were refused cooperation by the accuser.

However, in a later interview with My Daily, the agency confirmed that Song Ha Yoon had been expelled from her previous school due to a school bullying case. 

Song Ha Yoon: “It is true that Song Ha Yoon was forcibly transferred out of Banpo High School due to a school bullying case.

Despite this, they maintained that the expulsion was unrelated to the allegations made by the accuser.

Song Ha Yoon: “The case has nothing to do with the accuser. The actress has never met the accuser. We hesitated to reveal the fact that she was expelled due to the fact that her expulsion had nothing to do with the abuser. We are currently gathering evidence of defamation online internally.”
