Air Canada Flight Canceled After Blanket Request Sparks Crew Meltdown

An Air Canada flight from Casablanca to Montreal was canceled after a crew member had a breakdown following a passenger's request for a blanket.On Friday, Flight AC73 was canceled after a crew member had a meltdown when a passenger asked for a blanket. A video posted on X shows the attendant angrily gesturing and yelling at the passenger in both French and English.

The flight crew member was heard saying,“You will behave or we will get off! I don’t want any bullying against my crew!. “Everyone behave! Be quiet … or you’re getting off,” the crew member said, as she refused to get the captain.

On Sunday, a new crew was brought in to continue the flight. The broadcaster also reported that passengers would be compensated for both the delay and the incident on the plane. Air Canada spokesperson Christophe Hennebell said, “We are reviewing the situation and will take the necessary actions. We apologize to our customers and deeply regret that their experience did not meet our usual standards. We are taking this incident very seriously.”
