A warning from Delhi Police for Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-Luminati tour

After a grand conclusion to the Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-Luminati tour in North America, generating a total of 234 crores in revenue. As the ticket's to the Indian shows get sold out minutes after it's sale, Delhi Police came out with a creative yet serious warning for fraudulent reselling of tickets.

Diljit Dosanjh’s career is on it's all time high and there's no stop to that. From his film Amar Singh Chamkila, which streamed on Netflix earlier this year to his performance at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding bash, till his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. And the Dil-Luminati tour is a new achievement in the career of the 'Laembadgini' singer.

In an interview with Connect Cine, Diljit’s manager, Sonali Singh shared some inside reports of the tickets that were sold for the singer’s concert. “The tickets for first show in UK sold out in couple of hours. We were hesitant to announce a second show, but by the second day, it was too completely sold out. We were then discussing whether or not to have a third show, but a report claimed that around 80,000 people were waiting in queue for a ticket to Diljit’s concert.” Before India, Diljit will be performing in Abu Dubai where they have sold close to 30,000 tickets–highest for any Indian aritst.

On Thursday, tickets for Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati India tour were made available for sale in India. However, within a few minutes, the tickets were sold out. Delhi Police was quick to release a warning agaisnt fraudulent ticket reselling by a post with a caption that reads, “Gana sunne ke chakkar me ticket ke liye galat link par paise puse dekar apna band na bajwa lena (Don’t fall for fake ticket links and end up getting scammed; always verify first).” The 'Born to shine' star, took up the post on his instagram story urging fans to be careful while buying tickets to avoid getting scamed. The Indian leg of the tour in itself is massive, kick starting in Delhi on October 26 and touring though 10 more cities before concluding in Guwahati on December 29.
