Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah
The producers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have now provided a replacement of Palak Sindhwani aka Sonu Bhinde with Khushi Mali. Sindhwani left the show following a lawsuit that also got her embroiled. Sharing the announcement about Khushi being part of the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah family on Thursday, September 3, the management introduced the new team member on Friday, September 4, via Instagram. She will be joining the sitcom from October 7, 2024.
‘Let us warmly welcome Khushi Mali the Sonu Bhide in true TMKOC Gokuldham style! She is all ready to ensure that Gokuldham is filled with her energy and charm! So stand watching this beautiful, no not beautiful hot babe, which you will see from 7th October 2024, every weekday at 830PM, Sony SAB,’.
Back then, the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah makers sent a legal letter to Palak Sindhwani who is still a TMKOC actress owing to a breach of her contract with the company. They claimed that it was illegal for her third parties to solicit her on endorsements without her written authority. The notice also went on to say that she bypassed several verbal and written reprimands and continued to engage in such conduct which compromised the character of the actress and the series itself. Because of this, the need for adverse disciplinary measures to be taken towards the actress arose.
Palak Sindhwani’s exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah became known when she announced it on Instagram. She was thankful to the viewers as well as her "incredible" co-actors who took her on a wonderful journey. As the Actor said, “It is my last day on set and I look back at the last five years and see hard work, love, and dedication. I can only hope for such amazing audiences who showered me with so much love during this journey.” She added, “But I am very thankful for this experience and the great people who I had the chance to work with.”
There was so so so much for me to absorb, not only from my actors, but everyone that worked to make the show happen, from my hairdresser to the spot team, to the makeup one and so on. Tears were shed during our farewells and I will treasure the great moments we had together as a family.” Palak Sindhwani said goodbye stating that when she moves “on to a more normal life” she will “focus, reflect, relax and recharge.”
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running programs on Indian television. The serial started airing since 2008 on the channel Sony SAB.
