Fake news goes viral in no time and that’s what happened last week. Last week superstar Akshay Kumar tested positive and just after that, the news of 45 members from the Ram Setu team tested positive came out.
According to Vikram Malhotra, the news was wrongly presented as not 45 but fewer people had tested positive. He also explained that none of them was a team member as the tests held before the shooting date. Also, there were declared ineligible.
Dismissing the rumours Malhotra quoted, “In line with the same, and ahead of the shoot to be held on April 5 in Madh Island around 19 people were tested on 3rd at an off-location testing camp in Versova, Mumbai from which a certain number were to be selected for the shoot. Out of 190 odd people, 25 people tested and were, therefore, removed from those who qualified to be a part of the unit for the shoot for the next day”.
