PM Modi Honored with Russia's Highest Civilian Award and Welcomed by Austrian Foreign Minister in Vienna

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was bestowed with Russia's highest civilian award, the Order of St Andrew the Apostle the First-Called, on Tuesday. President Vladimir Putin presented the honour in recognition of PM Modi's exceptional efforts in fostering partnership and friendship between India and Russia.

Austria's Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg warmly greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations. Shortly after, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer also extended a cordial welcome to PM Modi, describing India as a valued friend and partner. He expressed anticipation for discussions encompassing politics and economics during the visit.
