Lok Sabha Election Results 2024 Live: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading far ahead in the Lok Sabha Elections Results 2024 with leading at around 296 seats while the opposition allignment INDIA is lacking behind with leading in around 228 seats. BJP leaders Rajnath Singh is dominating from Lucknow, Smriti Irani from Amethi and Gadkari from Nagpur. NDA is clearly showing better show of strength with leading in states like Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

  • Narendra Modi Wins in Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wins Varanasi Lok Sabha seat by the enough margin of over 1.5 lakh votes, a sharp decline from 2019. Modi managed to grab 6,12,970 votes while his nearest rival, Congress candidate Ajay Rai, got 4,60,457 votes.

Even before the results were officially announced, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had already secured a victory with Mukesh Dalal winning the Surat Lok Sabha seat unopposed. This came after the nomination of Congress candidate Nilesh Kumbhani was rejected due to irregularities in the signatures of backers. Eight other contenders withdrew from the race following the disqualification of Congress' Nilesh Kumbhani and his replacement.
