Three military personnel wounded during a gunfight in J&K

Three army personnel were injured during a firefight along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, according to PTI.

The incident reportedly occurred near the Kumkadi post in the Trehgam sector of the northern Kashmir district. This marks the fourth such clash in Kupwara over the past month.

Earlier on Wednesday, a terrorist was killed and a non-commissioned officer (NCO) was injured in a firefight between security forces and terrorists in Kupwara district. According to a post on X, the Army indicated that the clash followed a joint search operation with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, which was initiated based on specific intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area on Tuesday.
