New Delhi:
Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi has declared that all flights currently operating from Terminal 2 will be moved to Terminal 1 beginning from April 15, due to significant maintenance & runway upgrade projects being undertaken there.
This transition is part of initiatives to improve infrastructure & elevate the passenger experience at T2. Airlines have begun providing travel advisories, telling passengers to verify updated schedules since the runway work may cause delays or rescheduling.
Major Indian airlines, including IndiGo, Air India, & Akasa Air, have stated that all flights previously set to depart from Terminal 2 (T2) will now leave from Terminal 1 (T1) starting April 15, until future notice.
"Effective 15th April 2025 (0001 hrs), all flights currently operating from Terminal 2 will shift to Terminal 1 until further notice. This change is due to planned maintenance work at Terminal 2, which will remain non-operational during this period."
