Mumbai Indians again showed why they are called as champions on IPL over the years as the bowling unit defends another low scoring total. Chasing 151, SRH were bundled out for 137 in 19.5 overs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad who showed complete bowling performance in the first innings, started well in the second inning too as Bairstow played an amazing attacking knock, scored 43 off 22 with 4 sixes and 3 fours.
On the other side Warner anchor the innings for Hyderabad, he scored 36 off 34 balls but got run out on superb throw by Hardik Pandya in the 12th over. Middle order of Hyderabad again failed today except Vijay Shankar who tried to go through it but didn’t have equal response from other end.
Shankar got caught by Suryakumar Yadav in the pressurized over by Jasprit Bumrah in the slog overs. Boult who didn’t have good fortune in the start of the inning become a match winner for Mumbai.
As he took 3 wickets in his last 2 overs and gave only 8 runs while Jasprit Bumrah did well as expected. In 4 overs bowled, Bumrah took 1 wicket and gave only 13 runs.
