Never Let Go Movie Review: Horror that makes you grab onto your chair.

'Never Let Go' directed by Alexandre Aja and starring Halle Berry, is a film that makes you crawl underneath your skin, keeping you on the edge of your seat the entire time. 

The film is about a mother who is desperately trying to protect her children from an evil force, and all that stands between them is the cabin made of ancient wood. If the cabin wasn't scary enough, then 'Never let go' of the rope outside should give you the creeps.

Talking about the outside world, director Alexandre Aja's visualisation skills shined here. From setting up the post-apocalyptic world to the carving on the walls of the cabin, everything added to the film's lore. Directed so well that not once during the entire movie can you predict a jump scare and even if you do, it would just be a trick played by the notorious Alexandre.

It would be offensive not to compliment the acting talent displayed by the Emmy award-winning actress Halle Berry and child actor Anthony. B. Jenkins and Percy Daggs IV. Not only did they play the characters, they became one with it. From the moment they appeared on the screen, every smile, every tear, every twitch kept us on the edge of our seats. 

Never Let Go is one of those films that keeps you thinking about the possible outcome. As the film progresses, more layers start adding in, making you question the very existence before the epic climax that blends it all. 

Never Let Go is a survival-horror film that is a must-watch for every horror fan, releasing today in theatres worldwide.
