Sanjay Dutt – one of the men who has seen a lot of ups and downs in his life, going through the worst to good times. Recently, back in August 2020, the actor had shared that he is taking a break from medical treatments. Then, updates came in that he has admitted to the Kokilaben hospital but there wasn’t confirmation from the side of Sanjay Dutt or his family.

Amidst that trade analyst and film industry insider, Komal Nahta subsequently confirmed that he was defeating stage four lung cancer. After two months later, Sanjay Dutt confirmed that he was battling from deadly disease and has now got a victory through it.

Talking about his experience through those difficult days said during a virtual press conference of Cancer Up to Date: Cancer Care Advances in a COVID-19 Reality held on World Cancer Day 2021, the actor shared that his doctor said that he had a 50-50 percent of a chance.

“When the news was broken, there was a lot of anger inside me and I wondered why me. People take a lot of time to decide how they want to take their treatment further but I had to make a decision quickly because I felt that I didn’t have much time. So I accepted my illness and once I did, I thought I’ll fight cancer no matter what. When I came to meet Dr. Sewanti Limaye for the first time, it was with this mindset,” shared Munna Bhai MBBS actor.

That was Sanjay’s words, now will listen to his Dr. Sewanti, she said that when Sanjay had come with his family, he had an aura of peace and calm.

When the doctor asked Sanjay about what was going through his mind when he was discussing the treatment, Dutt said, “It was comforting. There was a time when they told me that it’s a 50-50 percent chance and I want you to be fifty percent on the positive side of the border. That sentence made a lot of difference to me. It was then that I decided to make sure that I’ll always be on the brighter side no matter what I have to go through.”
