Recently the English Rapper Meek Mill got into another debate after a new song by him was published online.
The 33-year-old rapper recently got into trouble after a new track by the rapper emerged online showing Lil Baby, which displayed references to the late basketball champion Kobe Bryant‘s disastrous helicopter crash. A line from Mill’s song said, “Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe,” which has been listed on Genius under the title “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe).”
Since this short clip of the song is leaked online, social media has severely spoken out against the rapper for the line. Lil Baby is also heard saying, “have a son, so I can name him Kobe/Daughter Gigi,” seemingly referring to Kobe’s daughter who also died in the crash.
This is not the rapper’s first incidence been surrounded by controversy. In 2020 July, Kanye tweeted, “I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf for ‘prison reform’ I got 200 more to go This my lady tweet of the night … Meek is my man and was respectful That’s my dog Kim was out of line.” After which, Meek Mill responded, writing, “Shit is cappp cmon …..” If you don’t know, “cap” means lies.
