Last year’s runner up Delhi Capitals will square off against wounded Rajasthan Royals tomorrow, April 15 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai from 7:30 PM IST.
Royals, wounded for a reason as both English players, Stokes and Archer will not available to give services this year. Delhi Capitals in a statement stated that Ben Stokes will be unavailable for the remaining season as he suffered through a finger injury while in the field in the last match. While Archer is recovering from his hand injury suffered in the series against India.
Delhi Capitals are likely to welcome their pace duo Kagiso Rabada and Nortje back in the team. While Delhi under the leadership of Rishabh Pant has started off on the front foot, beating Chennai Super Kings comprehensively in their last match, they would like to continue their winning streak against one of their favorite opponents.
Pitch Report: As expected, the Wankhede track has played out as a belter in this season as well. Anything under 180 runs will not be a good total here, as chasing will be easier on this ground.
