After a solid opening , the Vijay and Vijay Sethupati starrer Master continued to perform well at the box office collection on its second day.
Even with 50% occupancy in theaters, Vijay and Vijay Sethupati starrer Master opened to a brilliant response on its first day at the box office. The Pongal festival played a crucial part to the film’s opening especially in Tamil Nadu where the film collected a solid Rs 30.40 crore on Wednesday.
Master did well in Telugu region where the action flick collected a solid Rs 4.30 crore on its first day while the film collected Rs 10 lakhs in Karnataka. Master has collected a total of around Rs 34.80 crore which is tremendous and brings back the much-need relief to the entertainment industry.
As per early estimates, Master continued perform well on its second day with Rs 18.30 crore (Tamil Nadu – Rs 16.40 crore, Andhra Region – Rs 16.40, Hindi Belt – Rs 65 lakhs ), bringing the 2 days total to Rs 53.10 crore. The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed film saw the Hindi release yesterday on the occasion of Makar Sankranti festival.
