While the phase 3 of Marvel Cinematic Universe ended with Avengers Endgame in 2019, the amazing super heroes universe is ready to kick-off the phase 4 in 2021 as the pandemic situation is getting stable in US and has just released the trailer featuring some of the electrifying characters.

Avengers End game marked the end of the Marvel’s decade long super heroes stories which started with Ironman in 2008. The Marvel universe had 22 films which spawned films on various characters like Hulk, Thor, Captain America. Avengers End broke box office records world wide when it beat James Cameron’s highest grossing Avatar with $ 2.79 billion. MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) could not initiate the phase 4 in 2020 as the COVID-19 created havoc, shutting down cinema halls and movie productions. As the situation is getting slightly normal in US and few parts of the world, MCU is planning to explode 2021 with some of finest super hero characters.

The first in the line is Loki web-series with 6 episodes which will premier on 11th June on Disney+. Keeping the tradition of kicking off the summer season, Marvel will unravel its big release in theaters post pandemic, Scarlett Johansson starrer Black Widow which will release on 9th July 2021.

2 Years Of Avengers Endgame – Robert Downey Jr Shares The Deleted Scene

Marvel unleashed its much-loved trailer of Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings which will be featuring the first Asian hero in the MCU. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings will be releasing on 3rd September 2021. After winning the Oscar for Best Director for Nomadland, Chloe Zhao will become the captain of the ship for Eternals,  an immortal alien race created by the Celestials who will reunite to protect humanity from their evil counterparts, the Deviants. The  Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden and Kumail Nanjiani starrer Eternal will release on 5th November 2021.

Christmas 2021 will be fun as Spidey is all set to come back with Spiderman – No Way which will also have Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield dressing up in the Spiderman suit. Sounds exciting , right ? Hold on !!! The popular villains – Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus and Jamie Foxx’s Electro have been confirmed as Tom Holland’s Spiderman collaborating with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange to fight the evil. Spiderman – No Way will be releasing on 17th December 2021.

Talking about Doctor Strange, fans have been desperately waiting for a sequel to the 2016’s cult hit. The sequel, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness will have Benedict Cumberbatch returning as Doctor Strange which will also have Sam Raima direct his fourth Marvel super hero films after the brilliant Spider-Man 1, 2 and 3. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness will release on 25th March 2022. 

Marvel with Thor is difficult to accept. You guessed it right, Chris Hemsworth returns to his beloved character in Thor : Love And Thunder which is all set to release next year on 6th May 2022. After the huge success of Black Panther, everyone was looking forward to the sequel. However, the untimely death of Chadwick Boseman in 2020 due to colon cancer put doubt on the next film in the series. The good news is that Ryan Coogler is all set to direct the sequel, Black Panther : Wakanda Forever, and is scheduled to release on 8th July 2022.

The last three films in the phase 4 timeline is Captain Marvel 2 which will release on 11th November 2022, Ant-Man And The Wasp 3 on 17th February and Guardian Of The Galaxy Vol 3 on 5th 2023.
