Manchester United will be playing Granada at Los Carmenes on Friday at 12:30 AM IST for the Europa League’s first leg of the quarter-final.
Granada currently finds themselves at the ninth spot in La Liga at the moment. They seem to run out of gas in recent weeks and can’t afford a slip up in the upcoming game against the in-form Manchester United.
Manchester United has occupied the second spot in the Premier League and will also be aiming to finish the UEFA Europa League season on a higher note. The Red Devils will be heading into this game on the back of a 2-1 victory against Brighton over the weekend.
The two teams have never faced each other in an official match earlier before and both teams will seek to start their head-to-head competition on a higher note.
Neyder Lozano, Luis Suarez, Quini, and Luis Milla have been sidelined for Granada from this fixture due to an injury. Alberto Soro, Dimitri Fulquier and Carlos Neva also won’t be playing on Friday.
On the other end for Manchester United, Eric Bailly has been excluded from the squad after testing positive for coronavirus. Phil Jones, Juan Mata and Anthony Martial are sidelined as they are carrying knocks.
