Situational comedy is fun to watch since you might never know what will come next and the surprise element will make you laugh-a-loud. Andaz Apna Apna, Chachi 420, Padosan, Angoor, Choti Si Baat, Gol Maal (1979) , Chashme Badoor, Jaani Bhi Do Yaaron, Chameli Ki Shaadi, Pushpak, Hera Pheri or even Blackmail (2018) were some of the films that left a lasting impression in your mind with hilarious dialogues and comic act. Rajesh Krishnan (director of TVF Tripling series) and his writer goes a step ahead and create situations where everyone has their own agenda and wants to grab a piece of cake. Now the best part of watching Lootcase is its earnest comic scenes and timings. Each and every character is brilliantly defined and it is fun to watch them play their part. While the first half has its share of moments, second half gets more meatier when more characters gets involved and it becomes a series of blackmailing. Lootcase might also remind you of dark comedy films like Guy Ritchie’s Snatch, Abhinay Deo’s Delhi Belly and Blackmail.

Hats off to the screenplay and dialogues who keeps you glued to the screen. Nothing much can be said about the art direction, cinematography and music while length of the film could be trimmed by few minutes.

Lootcase is a performance driven film where each and every character has been well defined and the actors played their part very well. Kunal Kemmu surprises you with his quirky and witty dialogues. His perfect expression of taking situation-as-it-comes and bringing out humor in it should be lauded. Ditto for Ranvir Shorey, Vijay Raaz, Rasika Dugal and Ranvir Shorey for their fantastic performances and keeps you entertained to the core.

Lootcase is one hell of a ride filled with twist and turns that will surely be enjoyed. Go for it 3.5/5
