In the head-to-head competition between the two teams, Liverpool has the upper hand as they beat Chelsea on 84 occasions and lost to them 64 times. In the previous fixture between the two teams, Liverpool managed to clinch the game 2-0, courtesy of a brace from Sadio Mane.
Jurgen Klopp revealed Fabinho and Diogo Jota’s availability for this game. Alisson is also expected to play while Jordan Henderson and three other players may be left out.
For Chelsea, Callum Hudson-Odoi’s fitness can create issues for the team as the winger was substituted at halftime in the last match.
