The second wave Covid 19 is dangerous and has yet again hit a new blow to all the financial aspects of our country. The government has announced a strict lockdown, owing to which, the shoot within Mumbai will be halted till the lockdown is withdrawn.
The television industry is now in difficulty. While some shows have been put on hold and will re-air the old episodes, while some sets will be shifted to another state. Almost All shows of Sony Tv and Sab Tv have been put on hold and the channel is re-running the old episodes of their shows.
While Anupamaa’s lead Rupali Gangly had tested positive for the virus, another cast is under home quarantine. Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Pratigya 2 shoot has also been put on hold.
Also some of the makers of shows like Mere Sai, Barrister Babu, Ahilya have planned to keep a bank of their episodes and further, they will wait for CM’S decision and may shift their shooting spot to a different state.
On the other hand, Colors TV’s Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and Namak Issq Ka will shift their shooting spot but the location of their shoot is however not confirmed yet. However some reports suggested that Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 might be shifted to Banglore or Goa.
While the makers of Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali, Choti Sarrdaarni and Ghum Hai Kissike Pyaar Mei to shift Hyderabad; RadhaKrishn continues their shoot in umbergaon, While Ahilya and Rudra kaal’s shooting might come to a halt. Since there is no official confirmation on any of the news yet.
