Levante will be welcoming Sevilla at the Ciutat de Valencia stadium on Wednesday at 10:30 PM IST for the La Liga fixture. The hosts have acquired the ninth spot with 38 points while the visitors have occupied the fourth position with 64 points.
Levante played 31 games out of which they won nine fixtures, lost and drew on 11 instances each. Sevilla also played as many matches, they won on 20 occasions, lost seven times and drew four games.
Levante will be heading into this game on the back of a 5-1 defeat last weekend and the home team will be aiming to cope up with their disastrous loss. They have also been fairly inconsistent throughout the season.
Sevilla finds themselves at the fourth spot in the points table and is alive in the race of winning the La Liga title at the moment. They will be entering into this game on a higher note after beating Real Sociedad 2-1 in their previous match.
In the head-to-head competition between the two teams, Sevilla has the upper hand as they beat Levante on 12 occasions out of 23 and they lost only four times. The previous outing between the two teams which took place in October ended in Sevilla’s favour 1-0.
Levante will be missing out on the services of Nemanja Radoja and Nikola Vukcevic due to injuries. Jose Campana and Jorge Miramon won’t be risked on Wednesday as the two players are also carrying knocks.
Sergi Gomez remains doubtful for Wednesday’s game due to his injury. Youssef En-Nesyri might be leading the line for Sevilla this week.
