After getting five consecutive defeats in IPLs first half KXIP is looking forward to make few changes in their playing XI. The start player of T20 Chris Gayle is declared that he is fit and fine to play and give his fans hopes that it is still possible. KXIP have to won every match in second half of the IPL to get qualify easily without any risks.
It would be very difficult for team to do so. In their 6 defeats few of them were close encounters, in which they lose due to lack of intent and bad form of few players. Whereas few defeats were big margins in which they lose momentums in equal intervals and failed as a team. KXIP has few big names and quality players sitting in pavilion like Chris Gayle, James Neesham, Murugan Ashwin and Sheldon Cottrell.
With the current form of Glenn Maxwell he is likely to miss this game, unless team management work on him. On his place James Neesham all-rounder pacer may play on 5th position. Gayle announced he has recovered from his stomach bug. And he hasn’t made his 2020 IPL debut till now. Now this is crucial time for Punjab and seeing the pitch conditions of Sharjah Stadium the big man is likely to play.
KL Rahul skipper of Punjab don’t have enough time now to experiment any things in playing XI. He was trolled for not doing it already in few games in first half where there was opportunity to experiment things like M.S. Dhoni did with his team. RCB doing great from last few games KXIP has big challenge to perform well with new changes and old strategies.
