Song Joong Ki Talks About Reunion With Kim Ji Won As Vincenzo Cassano Cameo in Queen of Tears

Fans of tvN's K-Drama Queen of Tears were in for a pleasant surprise in Episode 8 when actor Song Joong Ki made a special appearance as Vincenzo Cassano, reprising his role from the hit 2021 K-Drama Vincenzo. In this unexpected cameo, Song Joong Ki returned as the lawyer for Hong Hae In, played by Kim Ji Won.

While some may speculate that Song Joong Ki's cameo was due to the influence of Vincenzo's director Kim Hee Won, who also directs Queen of Tears, the actor actually has a personal connection to Kim Ji Won. They previously worked together on the 2016 K-Drama Descendants of the Sun and the 2019 K-Drama Arthdal Chronicles.

In a recent behind-the-scenes clip, Song Joong Ki expressed his support for Kim Ji Won, stating, "I came here today to offer some support, as actress Kim Ji Won is working hard on the set. However, I find myself enjoying the shooting process even more." He also praised Kim Ji Won's energy on set, expressing his enthusiasm for Queen of Tears.
