Gong Min Jung and Jang Jae Ho Welcome Their First Child Four Months After Wedding

Actress Gong Min Jung and her husband, actor Jang Jae Ho, have entered a new phase of their lives with the birth of their first child.

 The couple welcomed a baby girl on January 2, just four months after tying the knot in September 2024.

Fantagio, Gong Min Jung’s agency, confirmed the news on January 7, sharing that both the mother and baby are healthy.

“Actress Gong Min Jung gave birth to a daughter on the 2nd. Both the mother and baby are healthy and currently resting peacefully under the warm care of their family.

We deeply thank everyone who has sent their support and blessings to Gong Min Jung and her baby as they welcome this precious new life into their family. We kindly ask for your continued warm interest and love for Gong Min Jung’s future projects.”

In an interview with Star News, Gong expressed her feelings about becoming a mother for the first time.

“The fact that such a tiny and precious life has come into our lives feels truly miraculous and overwhelming. Now that I’ve become a mother, I have so much respect for all the mothers in this world. I sincerely thank everyone who has supported and congratulated us.”

Gong had previously announced her pregnancy during the press conference for her project Sorry Not Sorry. Interestingly, her character’s storyline was adjusted to reflect her real-life pregnancy.
