The Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards, now in its 15th year, honors individuals who’ve made significant contributions across music, acting, comedy, and voice acting. Although Cha couldn’t attend the ceremony due to prior commitments, he expressed gratitude through his agency, Fantagio. In his statement, Cha said, "I am truly grateful to receive this award at such a meaningful event. I will keep working hard to promote the positive impact of Korean culture and to connect with fans through even better performances."

Cha’s year has been busy and successful, marked by his debut solo album, ENTITY, released in February, where he contributed as a songwriter. In July, he completed his first solo fan-con tour, “2024 Just One 10 Minute [Mystery Elevator],” which took him to 11 cities worldwide, allowing him to connect with fans on a new level.

In August, Cha collaborated with pop artist Peder Elias for the single "Hey Hello," first performed at his encore fan concert in Seoul. The song was well-received, showing Cha’s ability to resonate with fans through his musical versatility.
