Kim Sae Ron’s Father Vows Legal Action Against YouTuber Lee Jin Ho Over Allegations

The father of late actress Kim Sae Ron has publicly denounced YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, accusing him of contributing to his daughter’s distress before her tragic passing. He has announced plans to pursue legal action against Lee and others responsible for spreading damaging narratives about their family.

According to a report from Ilgan Sports on March 10, Kim Sae Ron’s father revealed that his daughter had expressed emotional turmoil after watching one of Lee Jin Ho’s videos. On the same day, she attempted to take her own life.

"Sae Ron attempted to take her own life on the very same day she watched Lee Jin Ho’s video," her father shared.

The contentious video, uploaded on January 8, allegedly featured Lee attempting to contact Kim directly and speculating on her reasons for changing her phone number amid public backlash. He criticized her perceived lack of accountability, implying public disapproval had pushed her away.

Following Kim Sae Ron’s untimely death, Lee Jin Ho removed all related content from his channel. However, criticism against him continued to escalate. Her father expressed frustration, questioning the validity of judging his daughter’s reflection based on a phone call she didn’t answer. He emphasized the detrimental impact of negative portrayals in Lee’s videos and echoed sentiments perpetuated by the media.

"So if my daughter answered Lee Jin Ho’s call, that meant she was reflecting, but if she didn’t, it meant she wasn’t? People have no idea how much Sae Ron suffered because of his videos and the media that blindly echoed his narratives," he lamented.

Compounding their anguish, false allegations of financial misconduct by Kim’s family have circulated online. Her father vehemently denied these claims, asserting that such rumors have tarnished their family’s reputation and deeply affected Kim’s younger sisters.

"Now, there are even posts claiming that our family squandered all of Sae Ron’s earnings. Our family, including my two remaining daughters, is being branded as such people," he stated. "Do we have to go around denying every single false claim and explaining that it’s all fake news? What about Sae Ron’s two younger sisters?"

Determined to seek justice for his daughter, Kim Sae Ron’s father declared his intent to pursue legal recourse against Lee Jin Ho and others involved in spreading malicious rumors. He confirmed that legal experts are gathering evidence to support their case.

"I want legal action to be taken against Lee Jin Ho. Not just him, but also those who posted such things and left malicious comments about our family. I want them all to be punished. A law firm is currently gathering evidence," he asserted.
