Recently, popular filmmaker Amar Kaushik put an end to the rumours of Shakti Shalini and clarified how Kiara was not approached for the film. Talking about her , he said, "Kiara is a beautiful actor. But her casting in the film was never confirmed. I don’t know how this rumour got spread. I have always wanted to work with Kiara. I am waiting — when I will direct or produce one of her films and be onset with her. I am just waiting for that day.”
