Yash’s film KGF is releasing in five languages on the same day as when Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero is releasing!
One of the most anticipated films of the year is Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero. Earlier it was going to clash with Riteish Deshmukh’s Mauli. However, he later changed the release date making Zero a solo release. But now SRK’s film will be clashing with KGF (Kolar Gold Fields), which is releasing in five different languages across the country.
KGF’s lead actor Yash talked to media at the trailer launch of his film. Reacting on the clash between the two films, he said, “I strongly believe that there is enough space for two films to survive, not one film can acquire the whole country. Yes, Zero is a big anticipated film but we are releasing the film in five languages. So we had to have a date that is suitable for all the languages. We had to think about all the distributors. December 21 seems to be the date suitable for all, so we decided to release on that day. I know we will have a big competition in Hindi, but I think it is okay. The movie is good, so it will have its own strength.”
KGF is going to release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. It also stars Miss Supernational 2016 Srinidhi Shetty.
Talking about the film Zero, it has been directed by Aanand L Rai. Along with Shah Rukh Khan, it also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The film is all set to hit the theatres on December 21, this year.
