In the wake of G-Dragon's recent drug test results, the K-pop sensation's legal journey takes an unexpected turn, as actor Lee Jin Wook indirectly expresses support for the BIGBANG member.
The National Forensic Service (NFS) revealed on November 20 that a detailed drug test on G-Dragon's hair yielded a negative reaction to drugs. This development followed G-Dragon's attendance at the Incheon Police Agency on November 6 for questioning under the Act on the Management of Narcotics. The preliminary reagent test conducted at that time produced negative results, leading to the collection of additional hair and nail samples for a more precise examination by the NFS.
Addressing the situation, G-Dragon shared an image on his social media account with the four-character idiom "사필귀정," roughly translating to "All things will ultimately return to the right path."
Drawing attention is actor Lee Jin Wook, known for his recent role in Netflix's 'Doona,' who clicked the "Like" button on G-Dragon's post. Lee Jin Wook, with his own history of facing false accusations in 2016, has been a vocal advocate against baseless claims.
In 2016, Lee Jin Wook faced accusations of sexual assault but appeared at the police station three days later with confidence, sharing with the press his thoughts on being falsely accused as a public figure. He stated, "The other person may think it’s easy to falsely accuse me just because my face is exposed, but false accusations are a truly significant crime." Ultimately, Lee Jin Wook was acquitted 14 days after the complaint, and the accuser was sentenced to eight months in prison for false accusations.
