On July 18, JYP Entertainment confirmed that all 8 members of the k-pop band Stray Kids have renewed their contracts with the agency. The group’s contract was going to end in 2025, but they have already renewed it.
JYP Entertainment shared, "All 8 members of Stray Kids including Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N, whose exclusive contracts are due to expire early next year, have completed the renewals. The renewal was based on strong mutual trust between Stray Kids, artists who boast an unmatched sound and performance in the global music industry, and JYP Entertainment, who planned and propelled the group's path to growth, as we confirmed our dreams of a great vision."
After the announcement, the members took to Bubble, JYP Entertainment’s online platform for artist and fan interactions, to send messages to fans. The members assured the fans of the group’s future and showed gratitude to the fans for supporting them.
Stray Kids debuted in March 2018 and they are currently preparing to make a comeback with their new mini album “ATE” releasing on July 19 at 1 p.m. KST.
