1. Xiumin (EXO)


Xiumin faced harsh criticism about his weight since his debut, leading to struggles with "yo-yoing" weight changes. During the "Growl" promotions in 2013, he followed the coffee diet—eating only one meal every other day and drinking excessive coffee. Although he dropped to his lowest weight, he later gained some back to a healthier level and now advises against such extreme measures.

2. T.O.P (formerly of BIGBANG)

During his trainee days at YG Entertainment, T.O.P was told to lose weight to debut. He started an unhealthy diet of unsweetened jelly, mineral water, and occasional red beans, along with excessive workouts. While he did reach the desired weight, the methods were far from healthy or sustainable.

3. Momo (TWICE)

Pre-debut, Momo was told by JYP Entertainment to lose 15 pounds in a week, a dangerous and unrealistic expectation. She ate only ice cubes and exercised constantly, even fearing for her life at one point. Although she didn't lose the full 15 pounds, she was given three more days. Thankfully, she no longer has to maintain such an unhealthy weight and looks stunning with her current healthy and toned physique.

During the "Blood Sweat & Tears" era, Jimin followed an extreme diet, eating just one meal over 10 days. He over-exercised and often passed out during practice. His fellow members expressed concern, but he persisted due to dissatisfaction with his appearance. He has since moved away from such dangerous diets and is happier with his body.
